I can't even believe I'm typing this but Ige just ordered a chicken shawarma meal and there was a literal rock inside of it. I'm just thankful I didn't eat it before noticing. I will never order from this pisspoor restaurant again. Smoking goat is much more reliable

Horrible. I gave one star because zero isn't an option. Don't order but if you're unlucky enough to go into this "restaurant", be careful as the door might try to kill you. Even if you survive the door, it's not guaranteed you'll survive the food. The environment in this place is like a slaughterhouse that's never been cleaned after sacrificing animals. We ordered kebabs, the chicken was so dry and stale that it started to curl, and it's texture was like chewing gum. Luckily they flood it with "sauce" that looks like bubbling acid. The taste of everything was absolutely dreadful. Thankfully there was some onion to numb your mouth and free you from the torture. And on top of all this, the price was ridiculous. Perfect place for a masochist. Otherwise stay very far away.

It’s been such a long time since I came across such a little gem! We ended up in Food Guru today more or less by accident, as we were on the way to an entertainment centre in Cellbridge and wanted to have some food beforehand. I simply found my favorite Indian food restaurant.

The place might be tiny and easy to miss, but the staff, prices and quality/quantity of the dishes are so well worth it. This coming from a person who likes Indian food.

We ordered a mixed kebab, a Chef’s Special Biryani and a sweet chicken korma for my 4yo daughter. We simply wiped the plates. Which wasn’t an easy job as the dishes were HUGE! Everything was soooo flavorsome and fresh and packed with just the right amount of everything. It’s really hard to put into words how impressed we were and describe how tasty everything was. Not only that, but the chefs/owners were just amazing people as well, very chatty and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy with their food. They were so attentive with my fussy eater and offered to warm up her drink as well and recommended suitable dishes for her. And to top everything up, prices were EXTREMELY good. We actually felt we got amazing value for money, which is rarely the case tbh, as most places sell bland food for a lot of money.

I simply cannot recommend the place and the people working here enough.

We’ve already texted all of our close friends to let them know about our great ‘discovery’ and we are already planning our next trip to Maynooth from Dublin just to have some more of their amazing dishes.

Thank you so much once again to everyone in Food Guru for making our Sunday simply amazing!
